Called in here for some breakfast while staying in Nottingham. We weren't really expecting much, just something cheap that would fill us up - turns out it's pretty nice in here!We got 2 big-ish breakfasts and they came out pretty sharply. Drinks (coffee on this occasion) seem to be included in the price of the breakfasts, so that's a plus too.The place has 2 floors with seating top and bottom, so enough room for plenty of people.
Food was terrible the chips were brown coloured and soggy, the fish was left to sit either above the fryer or under the light too long as the batter was soft, garden peas were essentially mushy peas by the time they had reached the plate, staff definitely didn't want to be their either. The place was unclean and just had a very unwelcoming atmosphere
Very expensive for what it is and there was a group of us in (not a large one) over the Christmas period and not one member of the staff there had a smile for anyone and took an age to serve you. The management here needs to look into this and is it them who do not look after the employee's or are they just unprofessional as a smile and polite service cost nothing but a little effort
Nice place .Big screen to watch football. Service was good food was nice. Worth a visit
A good vibe. I was sat and I went over to the DO asking him for a particular song but couldn't remember the name. So, I sang it him and he made sure it was played. He often nodded to say it was coming soon. A good atmosphere and great staff, an overall comforting and fun vibe.
