It's great here. You have the museum, a cafe, the children's playground, the boating lake, nature walks and they have now built an amazing crazy golf course which is reasonably priced. Enough here for a whole day out...my daughter loves it and we go most weeks. Only down side is that there's no cash machine making for uncomfortable moments when your child wants ice cream from the resident ice cream van who doesn't accept credit cards.....however the cafe does and so does crazy golf when they are able to maintain their internet connection.
A fantastic place to walk, just out side the city and free parking. Public toilets also avalible at lake side cafe.
Quite walk close to townMid morning walk just over a mile, great coffee and cakes and boating, crazy golf and bowls if you fancy it. Busy when students are not in uni!
Absolutely scenic. Take a long walk around the lake and you shall not be disappointed. It is beautiful in every season of the year.
Great place for a day out for all the family. The boating lake is wonderful and worth the money. And the adventure park is good for the kids. Most certainly recommend
