Been living in the area for a few years now and used this post office a few times and I can honestly say it has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. On more than one occasion I was turned away after been made a show of by a very arrogant and rude lady behind the counter who quite frankly doesnt know what shes doing and shouldnt be working there if she cant deal with customers correctly. Havent stepped foot back in there since and dont wish to. Opening and closing times are by their own choice! Absolutely Awful!
Opening time states 8.30, but the shutters were still down when I arrived. Poor time keeping.
The gentleman behind the counter is very polite and nice, he also holds a good conversation; needs to work on his pace however, can take up to 10 minutes to send a parcel first class signed for. The women is extremely rude and blunt. She tries to make you feel unimportant and beneath her. She also looks down on others including the less fortunate including homeless. She needs to relieve herself of the job at the post office and work somewhere else (if anyone else would hire her). I wish someone would take knowledge of these comments and do something about it.
This place is a total waste of time !!! Supposed to be open and isn't. Twice I've been to post parcels, and the shutters half up, meaning what ? The woman is very rude, ignorant, and needs to go. Zero customer service skills ! Avoid at all cost !
Rude and unhelpful. I've been three times since my work moved to Sneinton. Never again. I will now go out of my way to use a different branch. When banking cash all other post offices I've used weigh bags of coins. She counts every single coin, even though I only have full bags. The third time she miscounted a bag of pennies twice and made a big show about it being short by a penny, which it wasn't. I am thinking she did it deliberately because it was too much effort.
