Had to cancel holiday booked for September this year as TUI dropped the 5T rating to 4T. Nobody could say why, just that it was to do with quality. We had to wait for a long time (weeks) to be given options. Go up and pay more, go down and get no refund or have the deposit refunded. We opted for the latter and had to write in. This was in March. After several calls and even 2 visits to our local TUI we had to wait to get our money back. We finally got the bulk of it back 2 weeks ago and only a few days ago got the insurance back. 3 MONTHS and a lot of stress as we couldnt afford to book anything else without the 750 returned. When we went to get the last part, we had to wait. The manager was supposed to be interviewing but instead she stood for 12 minutes with a couple looking at wedding photos and a video whilst we just sat there as customers waiting for our refund. Absolutely disgusting. Made to feel like second class citizens because we werent buying a holiday, we were waiting for money back.
