Wow this place gets busy! Amazing breads and cakes to take away, awesome coffee and dishes to eat in, great service with a smile and really comfortable decor with eclectic chairs and tables. Throw in that they are dog friendly, this is a brilliant lunchtime visit. They are also licensed and had a very broad selection of beers so I will pop back for an evening and I'm looking forward to it.

We were not made welcome by the senior staff member when we walked in, who said it was not opening time I queried this as we'd checked our phones and was ignored, so we had to wait outside in 3 degrees and gale type wind. Allowing us to come in if it was early wouldn't have done any harm given the shocking weather. Service continued to be poor with us having to ask for salt, sauces etc as staff showed no interest in asking the usual questions associated with basic service. Even in Wetherspoons staff ask if you want sauce with your breakfast! My porridge was way overpriced at 5.50, not a huge portion and very sweet too. Other diners were struggling to eat off tiny but trendy plates with their food falling off plates as they tried to eat. Overall very disappointing. I suggest the owners visit Outpost to get a sense of the local competition and standards of service. It felt like all style and no substance and that staff literally couldn't care less about customers. All that for over 30 for 3 of us!!!

Special place to enjoy well prepared delicious food of a very high standard the chef is Wendy who is highly talented. The artisan breads are on a higher level..Well done to all the team for a very enjoyable lunch today Wed..9th...Jan..Look forward to sampling the 'tapas' super menu....

The Bakehouse is INCREDIBLE!! Small but cosy and a handful of tables so I'd recommend booking. We went for breakfast, was a great atmosphere and service was quick and friendly. We are big coffee lovers and the coffee was spot on.. probably the best I've tasted in the UK actually. The breakfast... Oh my the breakfast! We had the full English which had locally sourced meats, very tasty baked beans & the best sour dough bread! Much more on the menu which I look forward to trying as we'd 100% be returning! Also quite fancy the lunch and supper menus too

Is so good we've been back for two weeks tasting this amazing tapas. Absolutely beautiful! Taste sensation! Lovely atmosphere too. Pork belly is a fave as well as the mushrooms, It's all delicious. you must try! I have a red wine and finish off with a luxurious hot chocolate what a way to finish a Friday night .
