i have just had a needle took out my foot i was scared the staff doctors were the best ever and was treated as if i was in a 5 star hotel .thanxs so much for the lovely care u came me .x

Throughout my pregnancy, the antenatal care was diligent, friendly and professional. My experience giving birth was amazing! I had to be induced early which was quite duanting for me at first. However, Staff were friendly and caring in the maternity unit and made my experience of giving birth to my first child an amazing one. Labour suite was clean, calming and relaxing with a beautiful decorated room. I had the chance to have aromatherapy oils, music and dimmed lights. It was such an amazing experience that I will never forget. Thank you to my midwife Lucy for being absolutely amazing. And thank you to the trust for such an amazing experience that I will treasure forever.

I had a small key hole surgery and after waking up from it my right leg and foot was numb. I was unable to walk, I told the staff straight away and it seem that they didn't no why it happened and after a while they told me to wait 24 hours. When I was dressing up a nurse came in to help me as I was unable to stand on my own feet. She dropped me on the floor saying "sorry I didn't realise that you can't stand on your feet" even though I told them that so many times. They send me home and it was so hard for my husband to get me out of the car take me home as we don't have drive way. Well after 24 hours nothing happened I was still in same condition, after contacting my GP I was told that they might have trapped my nerve on my leg while operating. I am still in the same condition after a month, the only thing I am saying here is that they didn't took good care of me they didn't do much about it when I told them about my leg. I was the last one in there and all the staff just wanted to get rid of me but one of the nurse told me that she had never seen anyone with the numb leg after the surgery I had. She seem really surprised with my condition and was keep saying it shouldn't have happened. I just want others to know that if something like that happens to you don't leave them ask them to get you somewhere else only for 24 hours to see if it will improve. It's really hard cause now there's me off work for whole month and enable to do any thing as well it's so frustrating and I am fed up of not been able to move. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

A good hospital. Great, caring staff. The layout can be confusing, parking is random with car parks all over the site. I would always advise downloading the map from the NUH City Hospital website and ensure you are able to find where you are going or need to park.

Quite simply, the greatest support, compassion and care. Throughout the my dads stay during his heart bypass, we saw nothing but the absolute best. I couldn't have wished for any better care, especially in the cardiac unit.
