Great place to visit. Nice cafe on sight
A fascinating portyal of the industrial past. Knowlegeable guides and lovingly restored working exhibits.
Small but packed with authentic industrial machinery, much of which is free to touch. Many exhibits are working, too, so check your visit for working steam engines, lace loom and punchcard maker.Attendants are warm, knowledgeable and friendly. A range of 19thC era buildings and external exhibits create a meaningful context for the displays.Several important local industries are represented, including Raleigh bicycle manufacture, lace weaving and Loughborough engine works.
Hidden treasure. Very interest exhibits with links to Nottingham. Guides are volunteers who are very knowledgeable. Roger gives a great tour based on the steam exhibit. This museum should not be missed.
The Nottingham Industrial Museum is an amazing little day out that I never realised was right on my doorstep. You will find good quality and interesting exhibits with extremely knowledgeable volunteers. I would especially like to thank Rodger for explaining most of the museum in such great depth and communicating the information so well. For 3 I would rate it 10/10.
