Plenty of staff, all of which I would say over half of them lack basic manners and communication skills . I shop there regularly but today ,I would say the way in which I was spoken to by a member of staff on a checkout made me really consider where I will be shopping in the future .The self checkouts staff are lazy and seem to like to talk among themselves far to often (but tolerated). When you go to the checkouts your even treated worst . Overall there are much cheaper places to shop with better experience. Majority shop in the big chains as they expect a little more from the checkout staff ,but even at that the staff don't seem to realise that if they continue with this attitude that they soon be unemployed when customers decide to shop elsewhere . To be blunt in today's climate every customer needs to feel respected and valued you cannot afford for those who don't to rather shop elsewhere .

Ordered some clothes from George which were coming from this store. Ordered on a Sunday and was given a delivery date no later than the following Saturday. No delivery. Called them to check where it is, they couldn't tell me - said that the courier hadn't even picked up the parcels yet, and no one knew why. So bad that they can't even communicate properly with their suppliers/couriers.They told me to be patient as it could arrive any time. Not helpful.Over a week later I phoned them again to say it still hadn't arrived, and they told me they still didn't know why but promised to call me later that same day for an update. Obviously didn't get that call. Absolute clowns.I had to call back myself the next day to demand an update - they STILL didn't know where my parcel was, and didn't seem to care or want to do anything about it, as "it's probably still on the way."Guys, I don't want a 'probably', I want help. I was so angry as this parcel contained clothes for my 18 month old that she really needed.The parcel finay arrived a week and a half after I'd ordered it... and one of the items was missing. Had to ring Asda for the fifth time at this point and get a refund for the missing item, also kicked up a huge fuss for the massive inconvenience, so they offered me a 5 voucher to use online. I said that wasn't good enough, so they gave me 10, and promised it would be sent to me within four working days. To no surprise whatsoever, it still hasn't arrived in my inbox as I write this.I don't know how they're still in business, it was all so appalling from start to finish. Will not be ordering from George again. And I definitely don't want to be dealing with the Hyson Green Asda store ever again.
