I waited 15 minutes to pick up a 'click & collect' order - no one on the shop floor because of a staff meeting - 1 member of staff on bakery 1 on the tills - people waiting to be served - I stood for ages with not a soul around to help. Also, not everyone wants to use self service checkouts - this is a small store where the majority of customers want a few items and half are struggling with the new technology - go back to the personal touch & it will probably be more efficient! Pleasant staff but a poorly managed shop was the impression I got today.
Ok if you want something special but you pay
There is always this weird short haired lady who stalks people at the self service check out. I accidentally put the wrong amount of pastries on my bill (I shop there and spend loads of money There sometimes twice a day as its right next to my work.) she now profiles me and comes to stand right next to me every time I check out. This is unacceptable. I have green hair and am alternative looking... never see her do that to some posh white lady. Shes very rude as well. Today was the last straw so I guess Tesco is my new local shop.
I don't understand why u would want to pay 2 for ketchup when you get get the same brand in Aldi for a pound or less. The same goes with milk and similar. However the pizzas are great and the meats are better quality and tasty. But hey, don't u all go there just bc you have more money and its Waitrose ffs
Lovely cute store. Nice bakery and gorgeous ready meals. I told manager I detest the flipping self service tills and he was really nice. Very handy for buses too. Wish stores would just do away with self service tills.... grr!!
