Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked 8 days in advance, received confirmation email and confirmation number, only to be cancelled barely 24 hours before. Person on the phone was rather short and insisted I didn't have a booking without enquiring why I thought I had a booking. Proceeded to explain that I'd booked directly with them through their online platform and he apologized for the mistake, rather insincerely, and continued on to say that he was unable to accommodate my booking. So yeah turns out online booking system doesn't work and you should call. I wouldn't recommend it based on this experience.
Wine tasting with bread, olive oil, meat and cheese to accompany each wine. All fabulous, very enjoyable evening.
We visited this wine bar yesterday and was greeted by the manager very nice and talkative also a lovely women called Effie great service never had a problem with any of these wine bars highly recommend these places fantastic wine and food
Really good wine. Great food and amazing service. I always go here when I'm in town. Says it all.
Such a shame, but after several attempts at a good evening here we are now giving up. The wine and food are wonderful, but not worth the 1hour it takes to receive it. The staff (bar a wonderful lady called Effie) are experts in avoiding eye contact, ignoring the door and basically avoiding all customer contact. Was astonished to hear the area manager was in last night helping out as he was just as bad if not worse than the waiters. Overall, if the management care as little as he seems to, it is no wonder that the reputation of such a potentially wonderful establishment if dwindling the way it is.
