Bought a mini one from nottingham car shop about four months ago. excellent car and was in great condition, havent even had to spend a single penny on this car since buying it, would highly recommend these guys if your looking for a used car!
What a shame I did not see Joseph's review before my encounter with these COW BOYS!!I left a deposit for a Fiat Punto on the promise of every thing being okay with the car. After ringing Nottingham Car Shop 6 times to find out when the car would be ready I was finally informed the MOT had failed. When asked why Asif (Rizwan's younger brother) informed me due to a couple of "things". It was all very shifty and I therefore asked for my deposit back as I did not trust the car. I asked for the failed MOT certificate several times however he refused to show me.I had to visit the garage on 3 occassions and then sit and wait for 2 hours before the so called managing director- Rizwan would speak to me. (He tried fobbing me off by telling his colleagues to say he would not be back until late and I should not wait etc). Any way, after he arrived he was very rude and instead of engaging in a conversation to resolve the matter he kept telling me lies to my face regarding the car... When I proved he was lying he came up with another lie to cover the previous one.. After listening to this very rude man I have now reported the matter to the trading standards.Any one wanting to buy a faulty car which is polished for sale go ahead... and any one wanting to save money and stress.... STAY WELLL CLEAR- THEY ARE COW BOYS WHO SELL DODGEY CARS!!!!
Traded my old car in as scrap as it needed around 500 of repair work doing. The new car I traded it for lasted about 2 months and the head gasket went, along with a few other things. Also, seen the car I traded in as scrap outside someone's house the other day, so I guess they'll be experiencing a similar scenario in a few months. Steer clear.
