I went to the doctor today, it seemed like he was not listening to me. I felt like he was attempting to get me out of the building as fast as possible and when asked about the side effects of the prescribed medicine, he brushed over it and started saying im getting better. ok...well thanks doc, it fills me with confidence you have to tell me I am already getting better before I have redeemed the prescription. What are they? Sugar pills? Im now in two minds whether or not I have been treated, seems like what you say to children given placebos.Also, I find that the reception area is not adequately suited for the privacy you would expect from a doctors surgery and I had to ask a lady who placed herself next to me at the counter for some privacy, which caused me unnecessary stress, I had no support from the two receptionists when the lady who was at the counter, even when she was staring at the lady I was talking too, waiting for her turn. I expect doctors surgeries to have a stricter policy on privacy, instead of people being allowed to stare and listen to what I am saying about a private matter. Seriously, the woman stood close enough, that if invited to be a part of the conversation, she would only of had to move her mouth to be heard,. This horrible experience has made me uncomfortable with seeking medical help and I will now be passing all information to the receptionists by written note until changes are made. Be aware people.
Went to see the doctor after an amputation, and the doctor I saw treated me with noticeable indifference, I did not go back! Absolutely terrible!
Brilliant new GP plus service! Cant believe that it is still possible to get same day doctors appointment in this day and age. Thank you Platform One (but please try to fix your new telephone regime now!)
