Great service from the guys at Arnold Clark Nottingham. Was quick and easy to book, reserve and collect the van i wanted. Few general questions and i was on my way. Definitely will rent from them again. I give them two thumbs up.
Great staff, can't fault the place. Loads of cars. If you're in the market for a car, get in here.. if you want a bike , not the place for you im afraid.
Not the cheapest, but a semi affordable young driver rate makes them a good choice when you're under 25. Service was fast and pleasant, and good car choices. Only real issue is how isolated the location is, not the easiest to reach if you're without a car, who surely are the majority of those trying to rent?
Having tried a few car rental places around, I cannot describe how much better Arnold Clark is then any of the others. They are cheaper you can get a 0 excess, the cars are clean well looked after The staff are also very nice, never been seen by anyone less than wonderful lovely! There is also free coffee! Wont go anywhere else for car rentals ever and will probably buy my first car from them!
Used the Nottingham branch to hire a van while waiting for my stolen vehicle payout. I was hiring for a week or so at a time. Price was good and initial service was great. We hired it from week to week and got on very friendly with the staff even if the odd time I was late with any payments. I felt we had a very good business relationship. To cut a long storey short; after a while the manager asked for the vehicle back with no real logical answer so we returned the vehicle. (In immaculate condition and all clean and tidy.)I complained to head office who just forwarded it to the branch, and guess what, to the manager. This guy has no idea of customer management and customer relationships what so ever. Zero tact, zero flair and just a robot going through life. I complained to head office again and zero answer. Surprise surprise. This company obviously has a bad management structure. So beware. There are other companies with similar prices but with far better customer services as Ive found out since.
