Ordered a table online and hadn't arrived after 2 weeks. Sent them a message and I got a rather annoyed reply saying that they messaged me to tell me there would be an extra charge for delivery to my area, and that I hadn't responded so had sent me a letter.They never sent me a message at all. I've checked my e-mails and my eBay account - nothing. 2 weeks later and I've still not received a letter from them neither, and so I can only assume they lied on both accounts in order to cover their backs because they missed or forgot about my order.I pushed on and asked how I'd pay the extra charge and asked for the date the letter was sent as none had been received. By this point, due to the way they had conducted themselves, I was becoming worried that I had been scammed.Luckily, after asking when the letter was posted they cancelled my order and I received a refund. I've had no correspondence since to explain the reason for the cancellation, or how I'd go about purchasing the table I wanted.I would avoid this company. There are plenty of competitors out their which are a better option. Personally, I'd recommend Furn-On. I ordered a different table from them and could not be happier with the service.I'll amend this review if or when their letter appears. Considering it was supposedly sent over 3 weeks ago, I'm not holding out much hope.Take a look at their unprofessional and petty responses to 1-star reviews below - says it all really.
I ordered a dining table and chairs. Even got a delivery date. Delivery date came. No dining table turned up. Pathetic. I called them up. No answer. Apparently they were closed due to a football game and a funeral for 2 days Friday and Saturday. So 3 days later on he Monday. I call up, No apologies just a refund. So they had my money for over 5 weeks and just refunded it. They said it was damaged in transit and have had to refund over 20k to customers today like it was my fault and I have no idea why I would need to know how much they have refunded to other customers. Why would you not call your customers who are sat waiting in really looking forward to getting there delivery on the day its meant to be delivered. Shoddy business model and customer service. If youd have called me on the day or the day before I could have gone into work or apologised or offered some sort of gesture due to this rather than just email me a picture of a receipt showing the refund like I should be thankful. It makes me laugh really.l because I know you wont last long doing this.
We purchased a dinning table and was promised delivery in 15 days. I chased them after the 15 days to be told it will take a further 7 days. On the date it was due I received an email to inform me the table was damaged in transit and a refund will be issued. I responded that they should simply get a replacement out to me but they were more interested in refunding my order and were not at all concerned that this close to Christmas we will be left without a dinning table. The whole experience in dealing with this company was not very good from the start and the staff were not at all helpful throughout the process. I will not be using them again.
Highly recommendMy parents were moving into a smaller property and needed new furniture to fit the spaceI found UniqueChic via eBay then called directEmma sent across videos, images and advised on colours and styles My parents ended up with Furniture completely different with what they had in mind and it all fits and looks like a dream As it appears their original choice wouldnt have worked anyway and been too large for the spaceThe service we have received is incredible and the furniture is high quality built to last
I saw UniqueChic on eBay and called the store as I wanted more information as the range that I was looking at was very expensive I spoke with Emma who talked me through the range, the style, sizes and even the weightsI didnt realise that there was so much info I didnt know I had just measured the table size and not really thought about how much space Id need for the chairs Emma talked me through all of this and I ended up agreeing with her that I needed the smaller sizeShe then sent me a video of the table fromHer store and more images so I could have a really good look at it ( I live in Kent so visiting Nottingham wasnt an option)I placed my order and had the beautiful table delivered two weeks laterEmma was right, I did need the smaller size!She gave me great advice on decor as well and I took her advice on interior coloursI am so very very pleasedMy furniture is outstandingThe service was outstanding And I would recommend to anyone Emma goes above and beyond to help When I was calling her, their warehouse had been burgled the night previously and despite her being busy with sorting this, the service was still amazingThank you so much Emma I know you have been trading ten years but I hope that your business goes from strength to strength and I hope you have better luck both business wise and personal wise next year, I know you said you had a really bad year and I am so sorry all the things personally and business wise has happened to youI wish you well my lovely x
