I have now used M Hair on two separate occasions. Whilst they admit that theyre not the cheapest extenionist in Nottingham they have certainly proved that you get what you pay for.I am thoroughly impressed and would like to say thank you to both James and Sam. Customer service here is second to none and because of this I will continue to travel back from London whenever I need my hair doing!
Can not recommend enough! I went in after a hair disaster (home hair dying gone wrong!) and M Hair were great, they fixed my hair colour. I then decided to ask about hair extensions. After a consult and colour match, I was all too happy to decide to get extensions! 3 days later I had my appointment, after only 2 hours in the chair I left with gorgeous long blonde locks! M hair also do a 0% finance option, which is incredible! I will definitely be going back many times. I don't think I'll ever go elsewhere for anything hair!

I initially went to M hair as it raved and read the best.Award winning etc etc. Never having had extensions before I was very excited.My consultation was friendly and positive, The result looked great. On the drive home one fell out. I didn't dare tell my Husband what followed.Within 2 weeks I lost over 30 pieces, I did call the salon to let them know and they said to bring them in on my aftercare appointment and they would 're fit' them, I was asked did I follow the aftercare leaflet?I said no I hadn't been given one however I had followed a you tube tutorial and told them how is looked after it and it was the same care as the leaflet they said (I don't know as I still hadnt been given a leaflet though I was emailed a video a few weeks later.On the appointment for my aftercare I was seen by Sam the girl who initially fitted my hair, she put in some hair to replace the ones that had fell out, but I just can't believe as she was brushing my hair, hair pieces were just falling out and she was walking all over them!!! I was very nervous about it all. I didn't enjoy my aftercare as it was made to be my fault. I didn't feel very good.I had asked on the fitting and then on the aftercare for some layers but this never happened on the first fitting. Within a few weeks I lost more. In fact over 130!! I had visited 4 great length salons and was told by each one that the fitting was not good. As the stylists would brush my hair it just slipped out.I called James and he said this had never happened before and to go in.When I did I was told by James he would put more in and I was very lucky he was offering to do this. His time was valuable and expensive.Why would any decent hairdresser offer this? I had been advised for them to be removed and my scalp checked.I wasn't getting anywhere and was been told he couldnt really do anything, so my Husband joined the conversation and said the fitting wasn't right and we wanted a full refund or a new head of hair, James apparently called great lengths and if they would give the hair he would fit it. He did fit it. It lasted much longer than Sams fitting and he did call me to check and I did say this.I left a tip silly enough as I was happy with the last fitting however I was uncomfortable and nervous. I wasn't happy by any of my experience at M Hair but I was made to feel small and problematic and at fault. Not how I'd like to leave a client feeling.I was challenged by a hairdresser if the hair was new or second time used. I said I was promised it was new.Not a great experience at all. I have since found a local mobile lady and I've not had one problem.Awards don't mean anything if you can't look after your clients in all situations.I recieved an email by salon the day after this review.Why am I left upset and feeling sick again after contact with this place? Google asked me to review this so I did because this is how I felt and to feel this 4 months after says a lot.Part of the email from James;Your review is also factually incorrect and I have a copy of our emails, CCTV recordings and witnesses who will collaborate the events as they happened .I will give you the opportunity to remove the google review today before I take legal action for slander and recording me without my consent.Nice touch hey. Freedom of speech is allowed. This is not illegal and by the way of recording I meant I have witnesses too.When I have meetings like most people and when the minutes are taken as records of conversation (written down) for further reference.So please don't threaten me again.
I've been using M Hair for years and years. They've been excellent, I'm not having my hair cut anywhere else.
