More like a museum, loved that it had AR interactive sections in it. You get a great view from the castle, and you get to see the infamous Robin Hood statue in here.
Beautiful, what a place hidden amongst the town
Bit run down, but clearly visible from the main road, lit okay. Note that other reviews state this is multistorey, it is not: all 57 parking spaces are open-air on the ground. Entry off Canal St is a bit tight for larger vehicle, and the wall by the exit had been damaged by a vehicle exiting on my visit, so watch the passenger side when leaving
Good location for a visit to the castle and cheap compared to other local parking. Best to pre-book space as fills up quickly. Also possibly the smallest and tightest multi-storey car park I've ever been in... I managed to squeeze around in my 4x4 with camera and sensors, but if you have a full-fat Range Rover sized vehicle, or are not confident driving in tight spaces, possibly give this one a miss!
