I ordered a bike online, so unsure which store it came form but I'm guessing this one. I spent 500 on a bike and it was meant to be delivered on 24th of December. I had no order confirmation or anything, and they didn't send it because they didn't even have the bike in stock. The bike finally arrived around a week and a half later, and the bike was deeply scratched. I broke the bike by accident, and have emailed them about the break and asked if I could buy the part I needed from them, and instead of selling me just a crank arm, they tried to sell me a full crank set which I didn't need. I went to another bike shop to ask if I needed a full crank set and they set I did not and that Rutland are just trying to get more money from me. Regarding the scratch, they offered me 20 in reward points on there site, so they basically aren't loosing any money due to it. And then they raised it to 25 when I said that's not acceptable on a deep scratch on a new 500 bike. I have been emailing them for weeks now, as there replies are slow and unhelpful. They also don't read emails properly and understand what you say. I asked them to give me a crank arm in exchange for the scratch and I didn't want 25. But then they said I'm not allowed to exchange the bike. My issue is still not sorted, as they take 3 days at least to reply to emails and if you call them they just tell you to email them .All in all, I wouldn't give them one star at all, and completely regret buying anything from them.

Just the worst service & Bike shop ever, keep away especially overseas customers.I have made an order for an e-bike on the 23rd of October paying totaly about 1800 pound it's now 6th of November and still not dispatched yet. Its started like that: Said that they sent me an email which i didn't receive at all and as the days passed i emailed them to see what was going on i didn't have any answer i called them and they told me that they put my bike on hold because they wanted a verification of person order and address ,i sent that to them still waiting but nothing i tried to call them so many times, once i have been waiting for 20 minutes,beware i am calling from Greece to UK and i spent more money on international calls with no clear answer,they say that are waiting for the courier to pick my bike ,i don't know why they are delaying so much what they live in Nepal?. They are simple the worst no communication,no chat line,no answering emails or messenger.After that they have sent me a bunch of rewards advertisers and so on .They dont convince me Just dont buy nothing from them i prefer to give 100 pounds more to a shop more reliable and trustworthy.I was too late to read the other reviews.I was begging them to expedite the shipping because i am a seaman and i would be leaving in a few weeks but i dont think that anything will change.Finally the bike sent on 08th of November with a different company than once stated(DHL) and an estimate delivery on the 21st of November almost one month Order-Packaging-Delivery.They must be ashamed as i quote their wordsquoteHi, your bike is being collected tomorrow and should arrive in 3-5 working days. You should receive tracking information either later today or tomorrow. Apologies once again for the delay on your orderunquoteThis is your words not mine, also you stated that at your delivery option after checkout.Which proves what shop you are, I paid abt 200 Pounds for a delayed and inadiquate shipment service.If you had any decency at least you would apologize for the lies and deceits you caused and refound the shipping money to me.I will make sure all of my colleagues now of your pitiful doings continuing to media bad review posts.One star is more than you deserve for the review.
Excellent allround service by Tom, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Also saved me some money thanks to their price match scheme, honestly because of his service it was worth paying the RRP and travelling to the store!! Thanks v. Much Tom!
