Facilities outdated and really poor hygiene standards overall, they dont seem to ever really clean, it's worse at peak times. Toilet paper left on floor and sticky sweat on machines at the gym. The hot tub is microscopical and the water everywhere is cold. The steam room never smells like menthol, only sweat. The food and cafe are nice though and the staff friendly. But overall a heavily overpriced gym. For the 115 you pay for platinum you may as well go to the one in West Bridgford and get your money's worth. Until they get a refurbishment or start improving...
Nice gym but So small jacuZzi ..I mean for that price should be much better .Should be refurbished the place .Really overpriced gym
I've been a platinum member together with my partner at David Lloyd Nottingham for a year now and recently moved to West Bridgford. I was shocked to find out I can't use my membership at West Bridgford, even though I've used my membership in several other countries without any problem. When I asked about transferring memberships I never got an answer.Gym facilities are ok, but it can be quite messy as everybody leaves the weights everywhere and nobody bats an eye. Members of staff all seem really young and inexperienced. I've seen quite a few PT sessions where members had to do exercises with the worst shape I've ever seen.Overall a heavily overpriced gym.
Great facilities. Mainly use the pool and sauna etc. Great staff. Only downside is the shower area always feels grubby. Often see bugs crawling around in the showers. Could do with cleaning more often or thoroughly. The rest of the facility great.
Really good gym and facility. Staff are very nice and helpful. The gym staff are great, and knowledgeable ! But comes at a price, however worth it!
