My family and I, stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We had a family room with a sofa bed for my daughter. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. We checked in smoothly and found our room, however, when we had a look around, there was a lot of dust on all of the horizontal surfaces. We called reception and house keeping were very quick to respond, then cleaned our room again. The beds were very comfortable and had a good night's sleep, however there was a bit of noise from next door. A rear facing room would be better next time as the club/casino opposite created a little bit of noise (not enough to disturb us though).There were a few problems with the bathroom (flooding shower and not working plug) but maintenance reacted quickly and it was fixed.Breakfast was fabulous! Staff were helpful and there was a large choice of food. All in all, would definitely stay here again...
Location wise you can't fault this hotel. It's so close to everything Nottingham has to offer. The staff are helpful and friendly and everything is to a good quality.However...The rooms are small.You can find yourself in rooms that are backed onto rock city which mean noise until late hours. Or next to the elevator which is not good at all either. I think the issue here is soundproofing. You can hear everything going on around you.
Stayed here as part of a work trip for our Annual European User Conference. It is very centrally located with easy access to lots of attractions in the city centre. If you've never been before it may be difficult to find on the roads though! Would stay again.
There for a girls spa / Christmas overnighter. Parking easy and free until the next day. Staff very attentive and friendly. Hotel is beautifully decorated...attention to detail everywhere. Lunch was lovely and breakfast excellent. Rooms very airy and comfortable... quality bed linen and comfy. Over all superb value for money ..definitely recommend. Well done Crowns Plaza
